Ingredients:
3 Cups sugar
12-oz. Can evaporated milk
(Not sweetened condensed milk!)
1 Cup (2 sticks) butter
12-oz. Bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
8-oz. Jar marshmallow cream
1/2 Tsp. vanilla
1 Cup chopped nuts

Foolproof Microwave Fudge

Instructions:
Grease 9x13 inch baking pan (glass works best for this recipe). Mix sugar, milk and butter in a very large, microwave-safe bowl (4 qts. minimum, 5 qts. is better.  Mixture expands when cooking and wlil bowl over and make a mess.  Best to put a sheet of wax paper under the  bowl, just in case).

Cook on high for 21 minutes *, stopping to stir every 5 minutes to prevent scorching. Remove from microwave, stir in chocolate chips, marshmall cream and vanilla, stir until thoroughly blended and all white streaks from marshmallow are gone.  Stir in nuts, then pour into greased baking pan to cool.  Cut into squares.

* Cooking time is based on a 1000-watt microwave.  If yours is smaller, it may need to cook a little longer.  To test doneness, drop a few drops of the sugar/milk/butter mixture into a cup of very cold water.  If it forms a soft ball, it's cooked long enough.
